The Wisdom of the Unexamined Life.
by Chris Kamalski
Don’t get stuck in your head, my brother. You’ve done enough intellectual learning in the last decade (college, grad school, endless self-study) for several people. May this be a wonderful season of “experiential” learning for you. Sometimes the only way to live life, is to live it unexaminedly for a while. Do stuff that makes you happy, and let the simple joys center you.
One of my oldest and dearest friends, Santiago “Buckmeister” Pennroze (you know who you are) just dropped this nugget into my inbox this morning. Pinto, I couldn’t agree more. This is the tension I wish to live in this year. For someone who often gets stuck in his thoughts/head, simply living is the challenge. I love this thought.
Life is a blessing to be lived, not a mystery to be solved.
