Budgeting for Dummies.

The above PDF from the San Jose Mercury News is one of the most eye-opening, easily understandable sources of information I have found in the past few months (It reminds me of ‘The Good Pages’ that Starbucks featured during the recent Presidential election last Fall).  In one page, they clearly explain the ridiculous mess that California is in, budget-wise (Current hole: $24 billion!), and why simple solutions like halving all state employees salaries simply won’t fix anything.

Stunningly despressing.
