This unbelievable photo, originally entitled “Camel Thorn Trees,” was taken by Frans Lanting for National Geographic. The original caption reads, “Tinted orange by the morning sun, a soaring dune is the backdrop for the hulks of camel thorn trees in Namib-Naukluft Park.”
